In 1962 a tunnel was drilled into the front of the glacier Isfallsglaciären in the Tarfala valley. This was quite a big project considering that Tarfala is many miles from the nearest road.

Things starts to get interesting! The compressor is being towed by a snow weasel from Nikkaluoukta which is in turn being towed, presumably by a M29 Weasel. Lasse Sarri is second from the left.
